More than 800 people got a taste of Stamford Thursday night at the Stamford Marriott Hotel. Guests got to sample a variety of different foods, desserts, and drinks, for the 20th Annual Taste of Stamford event, hosted by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce. Jack Condlin, Stamford Chamber of Commerce President, says this is one of the Chamber's signature events, the proceeds benefiting charity each year. Both guests and participants say they look forward to attending the taste every year. The event also involves a little friendly competition between vendors, allowing guests to vote for best taste, best display, best beverage, and best dessert.
