On Tuesday, the Domus organization held a graduation for students who completed the non-profit's Job Prep Program. The program was designed three years ago to prepare high school students for the workforce.
Mcfeely says the workshops were free and available to students willing to make the commitment to attend. The program focused on teaching students invaluable job skills for the future.
Upon graduating, students received a certificate, their own business cards, and a letter of reference to help them get started. As part of the program, volunteer job coaches helped guide the students through the process.
The Domus job prep program is a part of the organization's Future 5 program, geared at preparing students for a life beyond high school.
