The New England Culinary Group is getting ready for a week-long celebration of dining in Greenwich and Port Chester, New York.
"Eating Greenwich & Port Chester and it's basically a restaurant week, but we don't call it a restaurant week. Ours has a little twist to it. Our event is a traditional restaurant week and then we add on a couple extra weeks."
The twist is Eating Greenwich & Port Chester will be offering consumers a bounce back incentive.
"That "Keep Eating" aspect. So someone dines and partakes in an offer that week and the restaurant will hand them a 20% Off gift certificate. So now the customer for the three weeks after can go visit any of the participating restaurants, using their certificate."
The Ginger Man in Greenwich is just one of the many participating restaurants.
"I'm looking forward to people coming down to Eating Greenwich & Port Chester to try the new prix fixe menu that we have that I put together for our customers and also give an opportunity for other people who haven't come here before to give them a chance to come in and see our beautiful restaurant and try our wonderful food."
There are nine participating restaurants in Greenwich such as Bistro Latino and Avenue cafe as well as nine participating restaurants in Port Chester such as Coals and the tarry lodge.
"It's a great mix, which I think is really important in a restaurant week because hey we all have different eating habits and desires on any given night."
