The teachers at Springdale Elementary School were surprised when they walked into a newly renovated teacher's lounge the first day back from winter break. The school's Parent Teacher Organization presented the teachers with the new lounge as a token of their appreciation monday morning.

One of the parents at the school, who runs an interior design business, says she was more than happy to transform the shabby lounge into a space the teachers can enjoy. 

The new lounge was cleaned, repainted, and decorated with all brand new furniture. The PTO even added several new items, such as an iPod dock and mirror.
