Kristien and Dan Del Ferraro are the food bloggers behind OmNomCT, exploring the different foods of Lower Fairfield County. The Del Ferraros gave their thoughts on some of the local soups and chowders in this year's 5th annual Chowdafest. Thirty restaurants competed to win the best soup in three different categories. Thousands gathered at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport to taste and rate the soups.

Dan and Kristien critiqued soups from the following restaurants:

1. Crab Shell (Stamford)- New England Clam Chowder

2. Southport Brewing Company (Stamford, Southport, Branford, Milford)-Corn & Poblano Chowder

3. Valencia Luncheria (Norwalk)- Venezuelan Corn & Bacon Bisque

4. Mansion Clam House (Westport)- New England Clam Chowder
